Process

1 Discovery Call

Every project starts with a 15-minute phone call to get a sense of what you are looking for in your project and decide whether Full-Service Design is the best fit.

2 Initial Consultation

This step is required at the beginning of every project. During this in-person* meeting at your home, we will come by for 2 hours to assess the project further and help get an estimate of how much things are going to cost. JSID will be able to offer suggestions, tips, and ideas to move forward with whether that be with Julie Sautter Interior Design, someone else, or your contractor.

*If your project is out of the greater San Francisco Bay Area, this process can be done virtually.

3 Contract & Deposit

At the end of the consult, we’ll know which service model is the best fit for your project and we will review that process, pricing, and contract together. If your project is a fit, we will send over a proposal, initial investment estimate, and contracts for signature.

4 Design Phase

The design process is split up into two phases: Concept Design and Document Delivery. We begin each project with a conceptual brainstorming meeting to get to know you, your family, your style, and all your desires! Then we begin our research and produce the document. The document production phase can take up to 4 weeks depending on the size of the project.

5 Document Presentation & Review

We will meet again to present and review your custom Global Design Palette. This is an opportunity to explain and clarify design recommendations for the project and answer any questions you may have.

Please Note:
Procurement and project management services are not included with the Global Design Palette.

You will be purchasing the selections independently or with the assistance of your contractor.

*final selection and shopping services are available at an hourly rate if you decide you need help placing orders, tracking deliveries, resolving deficiencies, returns, etc...
